Beliefs
Economic beliefs
TDRHism believes in the Chicagoan school of economics and is Classical Liberal economically. However, due to him supporting some government regulations on the economy, he's also moderately Keynesian. He supports privatization, however he wants some government-owned things in the economy, including healthcare and education. Despite his economically-right views, he doesn't support the total abolishment of welfare, making him a more moderate right-wing economist. He also supports property rights, but he's moderate. He wants a moderate tax rate and moderate government spending. He believes labor unions are pointless nowadays due to things like good minimum wage laws and stuff.
Civil beliefs
TDRHism is a moderate statist. This means that he wants a functioning state, yet some liberties. He doesn't like authoritarian governments or complete anarchy, he just wants a balance of laws and freedom. He believes that a good state should be a democratic nation with no absurd laws and no absurd liberties, otherwise it would be a authoritarian or anarchist society. He thinks a constitution is preferable, more specifically with a moderate amount of laws stated and a moderate amount of rights granted in the Bill of Rights. He believes some of the rights necessary are freedom of things such as speech and religion.
Diplomatic beliefs
TDRHism believes in slight globalism. He's patriotic, sure, but not a huge jingoist. He believes that the US should stay in organizations like the UN and NATO. He's somewhat against imperialism, meaning he believes it's OK to have some power over foreign nations, but not to the point where you go having colonies all over the Earth and setting up a huge number of puppet states. Isolationism is something that he doesn't want, because he thinks that foreign relations are good to have.
