Mbossaland is a country on the West Coast of Africa. It was established during the French wars of Religion as a refuge for Huguenots fleeing persecution. During the 18th Century, it became a protectorate of France. France would relinquish Mbossaland's protectorate status in 1960, along with the rest of French West Africa. It's first president, Francois Blondeau, was a descendant of the first Huguenot refugees to arrive in the area, and would become a symbol for the country's colorblindness and stability. This would cause friction between Mbossaland and other African nations, with Pan-Africanists claiming that Blondeau was just another Governor General with a different title, while white nationalist groups in South Africa accused the Huguenots of Stockholm Syndrome, believing that the native Africans would turn on the Huguenots in the near future, and that they were merely buying time by being friendly with the Natives.

As the Sino-Soviet split bled out into foreign affairs, Mbossaland found itself a battle ground between the two Communist Powers. Pan-Africanists under the command of former Lieutenant of the Mbossaland Republican Guard turned Guerilla Leader, Maximilien Kupakwashe Rouanet, formed the ANLPM to combat the Mbossaland central government in the late 1970s. Backed by the CCP, the ANLPM and the Blondeau Administration, backed by the Soviet Union and France, would begin fighting a proxy war, up until 1993 when the Treaty of Metz would be signed by the 2nd President of Mbossaland, Théo Maxamillian Obasie, & initiate a cease-fire and usher into existence the PNTM, the Party of National Labor of Mbossaland, the Moderate and Political wing of the ANLPM.

In 2000, Adrian Bokele would be elected as President of Mbossaland in a campaign promising to strengthen the nation not only in Africa, but on the world-stage, and to make Mbossaland the center of trade and culture in West Africa.

Adrian Bokele Thought is the catch-all term to describe the policies of President Adrian Bokele, 3rd Presdient of Mbossaland, a fictional country created by Cynisca.

It generally changes based on the popular opinion of politically-active Mbosssalanders, but generally it is economically right, culturally center (though leaning progressive), and authoritarian.

The Bokele Administration is currently engaged in a low intensity conflict between the ASLM, the Free Soldier's Alliance of Mbossaland, made up primarily of enlisted Muslim soldiers and their officers, and the ANLPM, the Mbossaland National Peasant's Liberation Army.

Lore
