-A few months ago, I had an epiphany about my state of being. I began a journey of self-improvement, and over this period I have been cutting bad influences out of my life. I have been engaged with this wiki for about... 3 years I think, maybe a little longer. I used to really enjoy it. Even when stuff got stressful I would just ride it out and come back to presiding over the wiki because I felt like that's what I had to do. But lately, my view changed. While I do enjoy watching the wiki grow and produce interesting new pages, there is a growing cohort of users within the community which have become incredibly toxic. And I am not just saying that, it has become a genuinely infuriating and harmful thing. I realize that it has always existed, and is an inevitable product of internet discourse where anyone capable of breathing who has an internet connection can attempt to engage in discussion. But it is serious to me because I have come to realize how much I let it upset my mood, it's not healthy; and that's why I'm leaving. I know this will stir a lot of mixed emotion since people don't really know how to feel about me, especially those who have been around for longer. But just know I don't want the wiki to die, and I don't hold any ill will toward the vast overwhelming majority of the userbase (yes even the commies).
